These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cosecha mobile application ("Cosecha" or the "App"), operated by Lokesh Mahajan, an individual based in Barcelona, Spain ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Cosecha, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Cosecha. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Cosecha is a personal Spanish-language learning tool that helps users capture, organise, and practise vocabulary they encounter in daily life. The App uses artificial intelligence services (including those provided by OpenAI) to transcribe voice input, enrich captured content, and generate example sentences. Cosecha is offered "as is" and may change, evolve, or be discontinued at our discretion.
Cosecha is free to download and use. New users start without daily limits: the free tier places no daily limit on AI-generated cards until your account has made its first 20, on practice until you have finished 5 practice sessions, or on Discover until your first 2 Discover sessions. After that, the free tier includes a daily allowance of the features that cost us money to run: 10 AI requests (each voice or text note turned into cards counts as one), 20 practice cards and 1 Discover session per day. Creating, editing and importing cards by hand is unlimited and always free. Allowances reset each day at midnight Central European Time (CET/CEST).
Cosecha Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that removes those daily limits. It is offered in two durations:
Prices are shown in euro and may differ in your local currency and with local taxes; the price shown in the App at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
Free trial. New subscribers are offered a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the price above. If you have previously used a free trial or an introductory offer in this subscription group, you are not eligible for another.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same duration unless cancelled. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
How to cancel. Manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store: open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You may also reach this from the Me tab in Cosecha. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid for, and you keep Pro access until the end of that period. Deleting your Cosecha account, or deleting the App, does not cancel your subscription — only Apple can do that, through the steps above.
Refunds. All purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's terms. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not affect your statutory rights.
Offer codes. We may issue Apple offer codes granting a period of free or discounted access. Codes are redeemed through the App Store, are single-use, may expire, have no cash value, and convert to a paid auto-renewing subscription at the end of the offer period unless cancelled.
Changes to limits and pricing. We may change the free tier's daily allowances as running costs change. We may also change subscription prices; where required, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before a renewal at a higher price, and you may cancel instead.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use Cosecha on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, sublicense, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
Cosecha processes content you provide — voice recordings, text input, screenshots in feedback, and optional name or contact information. You retain ownership of this content. By using the App, you grant us a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the App's features (including transcription, AI enrichment, and feedback delivery). Most of your content is stored locally on your device; you can delete it at any time from within the App.

Cosecha relies on third-party AI services to generate Spanish-language example sentences, translations, and explanations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or culturally inappropriate. You should not rely on Cosecha as a sole source for language certification, professional translation, or other consequential use cases. Always verify important information with qualified human sources.
Cosecha integrates with third-party services including OpenAI (AI processing), Supabase (backend), and Telegram (feedback delivery). Your use of the App involves the transmission of data to these providers, governed by our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services beyond our own integration with them.
Cosecha, its design, branding, and all original content (excluding user-provided content and third-party AI outputs) are the intellectual property of Lokesh Mahajan. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App is limited to the lesser of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros (€100).
You may stop using Cosecha and delete the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation by contacting us at the email below. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may initiate binding arbitration, to take place in Barcelona, Spain, conducted in English. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
